He was predeceased by: his father Darrell Grady Lowman. He is survived by: his mother Rita Stafford Lowman of Granite Falls; his wife Amanda Curtis Lowman; his children, Jessica Lowman and Tristan Lowman; his siblings, Amanda Aldrich (Jonathon) of Granite Falls, Stephen Lowman (Layla) of Hickory and Doug Lowman (Lana) of Granite Falls; his siblings' children, Ava Aldrich, Tanner Lowman, Chase Lowman and Josh Lowman; and his aunt Joan Benfield (Ken) of Valdese.
