He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Wittenberg and AnnaLee Wittenberg (Bowman). He is survived by: his wife Revonda R Wittenberg of Hickory, NC; his sons, Edward Wittenberg of Pembroke, NC and Allen Wittenberg (Kara) of Hickory, NC.; his siblings, Judy Wittenberg Valentine (Ron) of Statesville, NC. and Bill Wittenberg (Julia) of Asheboro, NC.; his sisters-in-law, Polly Shook of Hickory and Frances Robinson of Conover; his grandsons, Gabe and Cash Wittenberg of Hickory, NC.; and his siblings' children, LeeAnna Lott (Brian) of Clemmons, NC, Polly Johnston (Keevan) of Hickory, NC, Stacey Stalvey of Hickory, NC, Will Wittenberg (Betsy) of Asheboro, NC, Aaron Wittenberg (Rhys) of High Point, NC, Matt Robinson (Elaine) of Newton, NC and Chris Shook (Linda) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by sons, but the many, many adopted sons.
