It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Edsel Estes of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Estes and Grace Woods Estes; his wife Carol Cook Estes; and his sisters, Betty Klutz of Granite Falls and Bennie Kincaid of Hudson.
He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Estes Collins; his son-in-law Rob Collins; his grandchildren, Cassidy, Caroline and Chase Collins; and his brother Johnny Estes of Georgia.
Pastor Bob Thompson will lead a memorial service celebrating Larry's life on Saturday, January 9 at 12:30 at Corinth Reformed Church, attendees will be asked to wear a mask and to social distance.
