He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Wesley Walter and Clara Michalis Walter. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Austin Walter; his children, Wendy A. Walsh of Morganton, Kevin R. Walter (Patty) of Atlanta, GA, Keith D. Walter of Morganton, Holly W. Cruikshank (Scott) of Raleigh, NC and Heather L. Walter of Atlanta, GA; and his sister Carol Sears of Bryan, OH. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
