He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Flata Viola Chapman; his daughter Susan (George); his grandchildren, John, Will and Leigh; his daughter Mary Margaret (Tom); his grandchildren, Lawson and Adam; his daughter Carol (Bruce Smith); and his grandchildren, Sid, Jim and Alice. He was also cherished by 10 great grandchildren.
