Lee Scheer Starkey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Scheer Starkey (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on June 3, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Scheer and Leona Magdelena Mehl Scheer; and her brothers, Dale Scheer and Dean Scheer. She is survived by: her husband James Robert Starkey; her children, Sandra Sue Starkey Abernathy (John Franklin) of Hickory and Bryan James Starkey (Shari) of Parker, Colorado; her grandchildren, Rachel Virginia Abernathy, Elizabeth Ann Abernathy, David John Abernathy, Ashley Marie Cobb, Joshua John Starkey, Erin St, Kayla Kaminski and Breanna Summerlin; and her great grandchildren, Emma Sandra Monahan and Tarver Cobb. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
