We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2019, at the age of 97, Leonard Arndt (Hickory, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Arndt and Alberta Arndt; his sister Ella Rose "Ann" Mackey; and his brother-in-law Sam Mackey. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his stepchildren, Jeff Owen, Stacy Hobbs and Kristi Benfield (Dwayne); and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Easton Ripper and Carson Hobbs.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or Catawba County EMS, PO Box 389, Newton, NC 28658.
