She is survived by: her daughter Janice Proctor Payne of Gastonia; her siblings, Carolyn Messer of Shelby, Kathleen Byers of Lincolnton and Boyd Short (Kay) of Lawndale; her grandchildren, Angela Seay, Jeffrey Abernethy, Zeke Payne, Doug Proctor and Brittany Starbucks; her great grandchildren, Josh Seay, Justin Seay, Deacon Proctor, Laiklynn Proctor, Makenzie Proctor and Paisley Proctor; and her cousin Vernie Church.
