He is survived by: his children, Lorrie H. Hutson (Kimberly Ann Harris) and Mikle D. Ruppe, Sr. (Terri D.) of Vale; his brother Paul Hildebran of Statesville; his grandchildren, Reshella Wrede (Jess Wright) of Mt. Airy, Mikle D. Ruppe, Jr. (Tonya Queen) of Granite Falls, Justin E. Ruppe of Valdese and William L. Hutson (Torri); his nephew Ricky A. Barnes, Sr. (Melissa) of Connelly Springs; his great-niece Candice Barnes of Hildebran; his great-nephew Ricky A. Barnes, Jr. of Connelly Springs; and also Cadence Barnes. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
