She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Scott, Johnny Scott, Samuel Scott, Felton Scott and Libby Scott; her son Shawn Shade of Hickory; her grandchildren, Tavior Imes of Hickory, Khari Helton of Hickory, Amari Shade of Asheville and Malia Shade of Asheville; her great grandchild Kimberly Imes of Hickory; her siblings, Charlotte Sumpter of Hickory and James Connor (Sandra) of Spartanburg, NC.; her sister-in-law Gladys Scott of Hickory; and her close friends, Edith Clemmons of Conover and Peggy Setzer of Hickory.
