She is survived by: her sons, Mikeal Early (Marla) of Hickory and Bruce Early (Catherine) of Sherrills Ford; her grandchildren, Jason and Kendal Early; and her half-siblings, Melville "Sonny" Walker of Granite Falls and Denzel "Sis" W. Heafner of Greensboro.
