She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Charles, Loretta Krom, Gilbert and Lucille DeGroat; and her aunt Barbara DeGroat.

She is survived by: her parents, Andy DeGroat and Erica DeGroat; her sister Caitlin Smith (Paul); and her niece Natalie Smith.
