It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Collie of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Union, South Carolina, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Arthur Briggs and Doralee McMehan Briggs; and her son Tommy Collie. She is survived by: her children, Dianne Duke (Alton "Sailor") of Monroe, Reid Collie (Jean) of Hickory, Wayne Collie (Cindy) of Waxhaw, Darrell Collie (Lisa) of Simpsonville, SC and Alan Collie (Kim) of Newton; her daughter-in-law Kim Collie of Salisbury; her siblings, Johnnie Briggs (Annemarie), Thomas Briggs (Helen), Roy Briggs (Ann) and Patsy Stuckey; her grandchildren, Tracy Stilwell, Brian Stilwell (Beth), Ray Duke, Scott Duke, Mike Collie (Randi), David Vines (Lorissa), Tommy Vines, Tim Collie (Camille), Jeff Collie (Ashley), Ashley Mauldin (Van), Matthew Collie, Seth Collie (Kelsey), Tori Collie and Gracie Collie; her great grandchildren, Noah, Jude, Ella Stilwell, Logan, Reece, Graham Collie, Chloe Vines, Lauren, Meredith Collie, Carson, Hudson Collie, Eli, Landon, Mackynzie, Jaxon and Ayla Mauldin; and her husband Charles Reid Collie, Sr..
