It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louise Cook Howard of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Haderick and Marjory Middleton Cook; her siblings, Della Cook Smith, Joel Cook, George Cooke and Chuck Cooke; and her sister-in-law Janet Howard Reese.
She is survived by: her husband Jerald Thomas Howard Sr.; her children, Tammy Howard McKinney (Gary) of Burlington, Jerald Thomas Howard Jr. (Phyllis) of Rhodhiss, Rebecca Howard Merhi of Hickory, Elizabeth Howard Brittain (Dale) of Hickory and Timothy Haderick Howard of Hickory; and her brother Jim Cook (Kathy) of Boone.
