It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lua Helen Turner of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Abilene, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brandon Curry and Helen James Curry; her former husband John Franklin Turner; and her brother Kenneth Curry. She is survived by: her husband Baptist; her sons, John Franklin Turner, Jr. (Alison) of Concord and Timothy Paul Turner (Angie) of Hickory; and her grandchildren, Hope Elizabeth Turner, Caswell Lynn Turner, Autumn Faith Turner, Caroline Rebecca Turner and Brandon Perry Turner.
