She is survived by: her spouse Loye Lofate Hefner; her sons, Rick Hefner (Nancy) of Lufkin and Greg Hefner (Melissa) of Conover; her grandsons, Jeremy Hefner of Tyler and Robert Hefner (Jovita Hefner) of Argyle; her great grandchildren, Ella Hefner, Katelyn Hefner and Logan Hefner; her sister Gracie Bolick; and her siblings-in-law, Ruby Matthews, Josie Matthews and John Harris.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Peters Lutheran Church, 6175 St. Peter's Church Road, Conover, NC 28613.
