She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Ray Reed; and her brothers, David Thomas "Tom" Fredell and Robert Claude Fredell, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Tina R. Frye (Jimmy "Jay") of Conover, NC and Kenneth Ray Reed (Lauralyn) of Newton, NC; and her sisters, Pat Smith of Hickory, NC and Margie Austin of Vale, NC..
