She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Boyce Gabriel, Sr. and Blanche Miller Gabriel; and her daughter Catherine Stearns Smith. She is survived by: her husband Jeremiah "J. B."; her daughter Amy Stearns McGhinnis of Hickory, NC; her brother Boyce "Bo" Gabriel (Kim); her sisters-in-law, Susan Ramseur (Joe) and Jane Stearns of Conover; and her grandson Christopher "Gabe" Smith Aiden Smith.
