He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Frederick and Mary Walton Frederick. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Pounds (Margaret) of Conover, N. C. and Tyna Pounds of Hickory, N. C.; his siblings, Charles Frederick (Juanita) of Lilesville, N. C. and Naureen Frederick of Raleigh, N. C.; and his close friend Debbie Grier. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
