He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brown Jr. and Annie Grey Derr Brown; and his siblings, Narvis Ann Brown, Ralph Brown, Jessie Brown, Anthony Brown, Carl Lee Brown, Randy Brown and Mary Ann Rippy.
He is survived by: his siblings, James Brown (Andrea Sanders) of Hickory, NC, Robert Ramseur of Hickory, NC and Faye Oates (Keith) of Newton, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at 4:00 p. m. at the Dennis Alvin Mitchell Memorial Chapel at Allen Mitchell Funeral Home. *Masks and social distancing are required.
