With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Sigmon of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Mary Smith; her husband Bobby Sigmon, Sr.; and her siblings, Sterlin Smith, Clyde Smith, James Smith (Pete), Charles Smith, Jr., Eli Smith, Joanne Sides, Susie Rowe, Barbara Ann Lail and Betty Petite (Peggy).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Crafton (Hazel) of Hickory, Bobby "Odell" Sigmon, Jr. (Lisa) of Hickory and Roxanne Huffman of Hickory; her sister Doris; and her grandchildren, Chad Sigmon (Pamela), Rhonda Curtis (Chris) of Valdese, Tiffany Sigmon, Michael Mcelyea of Lenoir, Austin Sigmon of Hickory, Shanda Lopez (Miguel) of Hickory, DeeDee Crafton of Hickory, Candy Bernard of Hickory, Sonia Crafton of Hickory and Bobby Lee Jr.. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
