We are sad to announce that on March 5, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Mary Elizabeth Carpenter (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Cleveland, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clem Dixon Scism and Beulah Dedmon Scism; and her husband Warren Carpenter. She is survived by: her children, Michael Carpenter (Regina) of Hickory, NC and Tami Hefner (Douglas) of Conover, NC; her grandchildren, Ashley Carpenter Gray (Wes) of Fort Mill, SC, Aaron Carpenter (Chelsea) of Fort Mill, SC, Ben Hefner of Charlotte, NC and Logan Hefner of Morrisville, NC; and her great grandchild Audra Carpenter of Fort Mill, SC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels of Catawba County. Donations can be mailed to Senior Nutrition Services, PO Box 207, Newton, NC 28658.
