She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert L. Moretz and Eleanor Moretz; and her husband Frank H. Wells of Hickory, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Lynnette Stallings (Tom) of Boone, NC, Deborah McLellan of Hickory and Michael Wells of Hickory; her siblings, Joan Bane of Caiitonsville, MD, Virginia Hart of Glen Burnie, MD and Lynn Moretz (Faye) of Huntersville, NC; her sisters-in-law, June Miller and Eleanor Carico; her grandchildren, Kyle McLellan, Bryan McLellan (Pam), Josh McLellan, Charlie Stallings and Elizabeth Moore (Marshall); and her great grandchildren, Eva Moore, Madeline Moore and Blaze Cowan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St Paul Lutheran Church or Carolina Caring Cardinal Kids.
