She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hoots and Bertha Hoots; her husband Lawrence J. Pace, Jr.; and her siblings, William Hoots, Jessie Poindexter, Barbara Howell and Georgia Hoots.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa; her son-in-law Charles Bolick of Hickory; her grandchildren, Christopher Bolick, Mary Katherine Watts (Nathan) and Nicholas Bolick; her great grandchildren, Gabe Watts, Judah Watts and Silas Watts; her sister Ann Hauser (Bobby); her grandson-in-law Nathan Watts; her nephews, Randy Howell and Mickey Hauser; and also Donnakay Peissel. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
