She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Fagan and Cora Coulter Fagan; and her husband Renn Hester. She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Smith (Leo) of North Augusta, SC and Lynne Dull of Mills River, NC; and her grandchildren, Joel Carson of North Augusta, Christine Pritchard (Charles) of North Augusta, Brent Carson (Christa) of Mobile, AL, Amy Palo of Pisgah Forest and Harry Dull (Laura) of Etowah. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
