She was predeceased by: her parents, Fransis Carver and Bonita Cato Anderson Carver; her husband Floyd Downing; and her son Kenneth "Ken" Downing. She is survived by: her children, Charles Downing (Lynette) of Liberty Hill, SC, Keith Downing of Hickory and Deborah McDowell (Edd); her sisters, Nancie Jones (Ted) of Fletcher, NC, Linda Mosley (Marvin) of Smithville, TN, Betty Bailey of Lakeland, FL and Barbara King of Columbia, SC; her grandchildren, Deena Coleman, Hope McDowell, Danay Downing, Damon Downing, Doug Downing, James Downing and Will Downing; and her great grandchildren, Mark Coleman, Andrew Coleman, Evelyn Downing, Anna Downing and Emma Downing.
