With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mayce Phillips Eggers of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Finley Phillips and Lucille Tyler Phillips; and her siblings, Glenn, Bill, Wade, Fred, Jerry, Joe and Gail.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Eggers; her children, Danny Eggers (Iris), Cindy Cook (Steve) and Sandy Huffman (Keith); her sister Helen Presnell; her grandchildren, Cody Eggers, Brandon Eggers, Allison Chapman, Kristin Glasgow, Kyle Eggers, Nathaniel Cook, Natalie Cook, Christian Huffman, Cassie Huffman, Logan Walters, Kaden Tomblin and Maci Cook; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Remi Chapman, Carter Eggers, Mallory, Gracie Eggers, Mason Glasgow and Jaxon Huffman.
