He was predeceased by : his parents, Harold Powers and Martha Bost Powers; his daughter Angela Mayberry; and his brother Don Powers. He is survived by : his wife Judy Faye Helms Powers; his son Christopher Powers (Erica); his siblings, Larry Powers (Kim) and Carolyn Smith (Jan); his sister-in-law Jane Powers; and his grandchildren, Brennan Mayberry, Noah Powers, Emerson Powers and Elle Powers.

The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Antioch Baptist Church's general fund or to the senior ministry @ 580 Antioch Church road.
