He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shirley Ann Dudley Murph of Concord and Claude Ray Murph; his children, Wes Murph of Mooresville, Amber Murph (Gary) of Concord and Michael Murph Jr. of Concord; his siblings, Ann Herring (Randy) of Concord, Gordon Murph (Kema) of Kannapolis and Richard Murph of Concord; and his stepdaughter Rochelle Wagoner of Hickory.
