She was predeceased by: her parents, Cloyd Bumgarner and Lucille Lutz Bumgarner; her husband Ted McRee Hefner; and her sister Helen Bumgarner Kanipe. She is survived by: her children, Gregg Hefner (Lynn) of Newton, Dave Hefner (Teri) of Newton and Cathy Whittecar (Richard) of Virginia Beach, VA.; her brothers, Norman and W. R. Bumgarner; her grandchildren, Hanna Hefner, Ethan Hefner, Elizabeth Roloff, William Whittecar, Matthew Hefner and Kate Hefner; and her great grandchildren, Indaco, Zefiro Gianolla, Dawson, Juliette, Emily Whittecar and Caroline Roloff.
