She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Blackwell and Myrtle Blackwell (Leonard Black); her son Lynn Franklin Black; and her grandson Thomas Leonard Black III (Lynn). She is survived by: her son Thomas L. Black II; and her daughter-in-law Donell Black.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, PO Box 97372, Washington DC 20090-7372.
