She is survived by: her children, Gerald Echerd of Hickory, Brenda Zelon of Union, SC, Joan Yount (Geoff) of Bethlehem, Deborah McCall (Joe) of Hickory and Charles Echerd (Cindy) of Oak Island; and her sister Janice Bowman (Wayne) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
