She was predeceased by: her brother Julian G. Whitener. She is survived by: her children, Thomas C. Willingham, David J. Willingham and Rebecca K. Willingham; her grandson Grayson; and her husband Charles R. Willingham. She is also survived by three children and their spouses, and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Good Samaritan Fund at First Presbyterian Church or Adult Life Programs or the Hickory Landmarks Society.
