She is survived by: her children, Robert Powell of Hickory, Patricia Stinson of Hickory and Donna Jones (Lamario) of Lenoir; and her siblings, Lillie Young of Hickory, Betty Hill of Hickory, Cynthia Hartgrove of Hickory, Julie Evans (Bobby) of Lincolnton and James Powell Jr. of Hickory. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
