It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Naomi (Sharpe) Allen of Hickory, North Carolina, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sharpe and Eva Bumgarner Sharpe; her husband Fred R. Allen; and her siblings, Delora White, Minnie Schronce, Betty Teague, Mack Sharpe, Jimmy Sharpe, Bobby Sharpe, Leslie Sharpe and Paul Sharpe.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Allen (Carol) of Hickory and Ann Carter (Danny) of Conover; her grandchildren, Alicia Wears (Josh) of Whitnel, Alex Carter (Carly) of Newton, Hallie Holman (Logan) of Casar, Brianna Carter of Conover, Matthew Hale (Katherine) of Hickory and Lauren Little (Josh) of Hickory; and her sisters, Beulah Lunsford of Granite Falls, Brenda Eckard of Cleveland, TN and Rebecca Jonell Sharpe of Lenoir. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
