With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie Pauline Hefner of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on July 18, 2020 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Ball and Cora Ball; her husband Earl; her grandson Chuck Lail; and her son-in-law David Reep.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Lail (Montie), Romona Reep, Dan Hefner (Phyllis) and Terry Hefner (Kathy). She is also survived by 7 granchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to Christ Lutheran Church, 324 2nd Ave SE, Hickory, NC 28602 or a charity of your choice.
