It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Whitener Weaver of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bert Whitener and Margie Bryte Farris Whitener of Hickory; her children, Michael Todd Weaver of Hickory and Carla Weaver Herman of Hickory; her grandson Matthew Ryan Herman of Hickory; her brothers, Bill Whitener (Mae) and Alfred Whitener of Hickory; and her sister-in-law Betty Sue Whitener of Hickory. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
