It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman Andrew Punch of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on September 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Adolphus Punch and Bonnie Jarrett Punch; his siblings, Billy Punch and Wanda Punch Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Frye, Dr. Lee M. Seagle, Jr., Clifford Helton, Lucy Starnes Frye of Hickory, Evelyn Frye Helton and Adrian Frye.
He is survived by: his wife Vernice Frye Punch of Hickory; his children, Norman Andrew Punch, Jr. (Andy) of Holly Springs, NC and Carol Elizabeth Gutierrez; his son-in-law Diego Gutierrez of Oro Valley, AZ; his grandson Justin Andrew Kinne of San Antonio, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Seagle of Hickory and Edna Punch of Hickory. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
