She was predeceased by: her parents, George Koch and Robertine Edwards Koch. She is survived by: her son Melvin "Gene" Woodward, Jr. of Hickory; her former husband Melvin Woodward, Sr. of Waynesboro; her siblings, John Koch (Barbara) of Richmond and Carol Cornett (Larry) of Abingdon; and her grandsons, Kevin Woodward and Connor Woodward.
