She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Garry Hames; her daughters, Michelle Starnes (Alex Brittain) and Tammy Bumgarner (David Bumgarner); her grandchildren, Jordan Bulanyi (Tiffany), Logan Bulanyi, Morgan Starnes, Noah Bumgarner and Hannah Bumgarner; her great grandchild Charlee Marie Bulanyi; her brother Kenneth Massage; her niece Amy Massagee; her daughter Polly Shook (Ronald); and her parent Legina Dillard.
