We are sad to announce that on June 19, 2021, at the age of 79, Peggy Jean Lail Horton of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Robert Lail and Garnett Caldwell Lail; her husband Frank Taylor Horton; her son Eric Taylor Horton; her grandson Dakota Austin Piercy; and her siblings, Wayne Lail and Shirley Yoder.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Horton, Leshea Piercy (Kevin) and Chad Horton (Shannon); her grandchildren, Disa Gantt (Josh), Dustin Street (Heather), Matt Piercy, Kristen Piercy, Keely Horton, Whitney Horton and Amberly Horton; her great grandchildren, Kialyn Gantt, Bree Street, Averie Street, Laynie Gantt and Andrew Street; her sibling's children, Melissa Ricks, Karen Hedrick and Kevin Lail; and her pet Sassi.
