She was predeceased by: her parents, William Taft Miller and Vilee Miller Starnes; her husband James "Butch" Hefner; her sons, James "Jimmy" Hefner Jr. and Dallas Hefner; and her siblings, Harlee Dagenhart, Calvin "Bud" Dagenhart and Gaynelle Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Crystal (Dave) of Fletcher; her sister Marie Starnes; her brother-in-law Bill Hefner; her grandchildren, Krystal Hefner, Nikki McCann (Philip), Melanie Shoemaker (Justin), Brett Hefner, Chad Hefner, Cory Hefner, Tristian Hefner and Bailey Crystal; and her great grandchildren, Kourtney Perkins, Colin McCann, Chelsea McCann, Matthew Hefner and Renesmee Hefner. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
