She is survived by: her son Reginald Oates (Kimberly) of Hickory, NC; her siblings, Lillie Mae Harbison of Shelby, NC and Verdell Danner (Bobby) of Maiden, NC; her grandchildren, Desmond Oates (Saskia) of Seattle, Kwan Oates of Hickory, NC, Kimaya Williams of Hickory, NC and Kyera West of Lincolnton, NC; her great grandchildren, Leia Oates of Seattle, Washington and Max Oates of Seattle, Washington; and her siblings' children, Leon Allison (Lynn) of Newton, NC and Carlene Allison of Shelby, NC. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
