It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Revonda Sue Mitcham of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Jack Rufus Holland and Anna Lee Hice Holland; her husband Jerry Lee Mitcham; and her brothers, George "Bud" Holland and Glenn Ray "Pete" Holland.

She is survived by: her daughter Anna Mitcham Grindstaff; her grandchildren, Jackson Rylee Grindstaff and Gracie "Jordan" Grindstaff; and her son-in-law Christopher Ryan Grindstaff of Hickory. She is also survived by nieces and extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made in Sue's honor to East First Street Baptist Church, PO Box 273, Newton, NC.
