He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Wilson and Pauline Wilson; his wife Lil; and his brother Justin Wilson. He is survived by: his former wife Lillian Marie Martin; his daughters, Shawna Wilson of Hickory, Bronwyn Breland of Lenoir and Gannon Carr (Bill) of Banner Elk; and his grandchildren, Megan Trotter (Tristan) of Granite Falls, Courtney Matthews (James) of Hildebran, Devin Hoskins of Wichita Falls, TX, William Carr of New Braunfels, TX, Jackson Carr of Norfolk, VA and Morgan Carr of Northern Ireland. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
