With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Dean Kari (Hickory, North Carolina), who passed away on April 5, 2019 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Don Kari and Bob Kari (Rose); and his son-in-law Chris Fox. He is survived by: his children, Gretchen Kari (Brian Fredette) of Charlotte and Buddy Kari; his significant other Judy Hoke of Hickory; his daughters, Jennifer Pope (Mark Huffman), Tara Fox (Chad Williams) and Tonya Deal (Dickie); his grandchildren, Amanda Hoke, Kyle Fox, Jessie Deal, Sarah Gillespie (Thomas), Trey Deal and Aaron Fox; his sister-in-law Cathy Kari; his nephew Dan Kari; and his cousins, Jim and Wayne Kari.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
