It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Harold Pons of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Southern Pines, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Richard and Jeanette Pons Richard. He is survived by: his wife Patsy McGuire Pons; his son Mark Pons of Valdese; and his brothers, Larry Pons of Franklin and Stanley Pons of France.
