It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Dean Sigmon (Hickory, North Carolina), born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Sigmon and Erlene Sigmon. He is survived by: his friend Superette; his children, Connie and Tyler Dean Sigmon (Allison) of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Jan S. Hanby (Dave) and Sandra S. Dexter (Pardon); his grandson Mac Dean Sigmon of Charlotte, NC; his fiancée Connie Starnes of Hickory, NC; and also, Miranda (David), Evan, Matt (Alysha) and Patrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Hickory High School, Att: Athletics Boosters, 1234 3rd St NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
