It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Miraldi Karahalias of Hickory, North Carolina, born in Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on August 21, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rocco Vincent Miraldi and Geraldine Hume Miraldi; and her son David Stevens. She is survived by: her husband Stratton Karahalias; her children, Frank Stevens (Rachel) of Indianapolis, IN and Rita Blondina Soukup of Laurel Springs; her siblings, Tom Miraldi of Wayne, PA and Karlene Rankin (Karl) of Canal Winchester, OH.; and her grandchildren, Skeylar Manuel, Tyler McGowan, Michael Soukup and Asher Stevens.
