He is survived by: his son Richard Jeffery Blevins; his brother Thomas "Tommy" Blevins; his sibling's children, Christopher Blevins of Hickory, Robbie Blevins, Roxanne Blevins of Hickory and Karen Blevins of Colorado; and his friend Don Rush of Hickory.
